I began diving 18 years ago in Gran Canaria aged 9. The following year I qualified as a PADI JR Open Water Diver in Turkey. Ever since that moment my dream was to become a Scuba diving instructor with my very own dive school.
Until finishing university and training to become a Divemaster with the aim of travelling the world, I dived each year on holidays, earning more certificates as I went along. I have been lucky enough to have dived in; Portugal, Egypt, Malta, the Maldives, the Balearics, and many more!
My journey with diving has taken me all over the world. My first step in the world of professional diving was as a professional underwater photographer/videographer in 2014 on a liveaboard boat on the Great Barrier Reef. This showed me that diving was all I ever wanted to do. In 2015 I trained in Bali to earn my SSI Open Water Scuba Instructor certificate, and later crossed over to PADI in 2016 training in the chilly waters of the UK.
Since then I have worked as an instructor in Mallorca, Thailand, the UK, and now, with my very own shop in Menorca!

So far, my favourite dive sites in Menorca are: Slipway, Tunnel Vision and Swiss Cheese.

I began diving following a suggestion of a friend. At that time I had traded my life in Belgium for a sunnier and more relaxed life in Spain working a normal 9 to 5 office job. I signed up for the Open Water Diver course and sure enough after my first breath under water I was hooked. That same day I quit my office job and started my internship that would lead me to become a Scuba diving instructor. I had finally found what I was looking for and knew that I didn’t want to do anything else than share my passion for diving with others. So I could change their lives in the way that diving has changed mine. After I became an Instructor I continued working in Spain until the summer was over and began looking to other horizons. This lead me to Dominican Republic with its wonderful reefs and white sandy beaches. Through my journey I have learned so much about the ocean and its amazing wildlife, met the most interesting people from all over the world that share my passion and have changed my outlook on life and the world in general. And I’m sure that when you try it and if you are open to the wonders of what lay beneath those shimmering waves diving will change your life too!

My name Is Ignacio. Since I have memory I have been in love with the water. I started snorkelling at a very young age. At 13 years old I started with the Open water course and from then I have been in love with this wonderful sport. In the last years I have been diving in places like Indonesia, Australia, Mauritius or Philippines, where I did my instructor course.
The ocean is what makes me feel alive. It is the place where I feel the most comfortable.
I consider myself as an adventurous diver. I love caves, wrecks, big currents and the most, shark diving.

I fell in love with diving as soon as I first breathed underwater. I had never done anything quite like diving before, so was terrified before jumping in, and then I saw what was under the water! Seeing the crystal-clear water with the millions of colourful fish swimming about was brilliant.
I completed my first dive with Gareth in Thailand and was hooked from that moment. Shortly after I qualified as an Open Water Diver in Bali, and since then have dived in Mallorca, Mexico, Borneo and New Zealand too!
Now, diving in Menorca is magical! I love the wonderful caves/caverns and swim throughs which are topped off with SO MANY colourful fish swimming around us. My favourite site is Cala Blanca as it has great swim-throughs, so many fish, and I know where the octopuses live!
